Job Description:
Alberta Health Services is hiring a Nurse Practitioner to provide advanced clinical care in primary healthcare settings in Calgary. This role focuses on preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute illness treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
– Perform comprehensive health assessments and diagnoses
– Order and interpret diagnostic tests and prescribe medications
– Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care
– Promote health education and disease prevention strategies
Requirements:
– Master’s degree in Nursing (MN) with a Nurse Practitioner designation
– Registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA)
– Minimum 2 years of clinical practice experience preferred
– Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills
