Job Description:
Direct Drive Logistics is looking for a motivated Freight Broker / Logistics Coordinator to manage client accounts and carrier relationships. This position is ideal for someone with freight experience who thrives in a commission-driven environment and enjoys building long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
– Source and schedule carriers for full truckload (FTL) and LTL shipments
– Negotiate rates and lanes with carriers and shippers
– Track shipments and proactively communicate delays or updates
– Maintain and grow customer accounts through excellent service
Requirements:
– 1+ year of freight brokerage, dispatch, or 3PL experience
– Strong understanding of U.S. transportation and freight markets
– Excellent communication, negotiation, and multitasking skills
– CRM and load board experience (DAT, Truckstop, etc.)
