Job Description:
Anglim’s Western Metal Works is seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to assist in the production of high-quality metalwork including structural steel, staircases, railings, and custom fabrication projects. This is a hands-on role for candidates with strong welding and blueprint reading skills.
Key Responsibilities:
– Perform MIG and TIG welding on steel, aluminum, and stainless
– Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications
– Cut, shape, and assemble metal components
– Ensure welds meet company quality and safety standards
Requirements:
– 2+ years of welding/fabrication experience required
– Ability to read blueprints and use fabrication tools
– Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
– Welding certifications (AWS) preferred but not required
