Job Description:
Merrick Machine Company is hiring a skilled CNC Machine Operator to support its precision manufacturing processes for industrial and framing equipment. This role involves the setup, operation, and monitoring of CNC machines to produce quality components.
Key Responsibilities:
– Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills
– Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
– Perform in-process inspections using measuring tools
– Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and maintain clean work area
Requirements:
– High school diploma or GED
– 1+ year experience in CNC machining (training available for entry-level)
– Ability to read calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools
– Strong attention to safety and quality
