Job Description:
Maple Orchards is looking for international workers to join their fruit picking and packing team during the summer and fall harvest. This position is open to candidates from approved partner countries under Canada’s SAWP.
Key Responsibilities:
– Handpick apples, cherries, and peaches during harvest
– Sort and pack fruit according to grade standards
– Clean and maintain orchard rows and tools
– Comply with health and safety guidelines
Requirements:
– Citizen of eligible SAWP country (e.g., Mexico, Jamaica, Philippines)
– Good physical condition and ability to work outdoors
– Must pass basic medical exam
– Able to follow simple instructions (English not required)
Benefits:
– Work visa and contract processing handled by employer
– On-site housing with kitchen facilities
– Transportation from country of origin to farm covered
– Potential to return annually under SAWP
