Job Description:
ABF Freight is hiring professional City Drivers to manage local pickups and deliveries within the Shreveport area. Enjoy consistent freight, excellent pay, and union benefits while being home every night.
Key Responsibilities:
– Operate Class A tractors for local pickup and delivery
– Safely load and unload freight at customer locations
– Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
– Complete daily vehicle inspections and maintain DOT compliance
Requirements:
– Valid CDL Class A with doubles/triples endorsement
– Clean driving record and 1+ year of commercial driving experience preferred
– Ability to lift freight and operate forklift as needed
– Strong safety and time management skills
