Job Description:
York Space Systems is hiring a Satellite Assembly Technician to support the hands-on build, integration, and testing of spacecraft hardware. This is a unique opportunity to work in a cleanroom environment and contribute to real satellite missions in low Earth orbit (LEO).
Key Responsibilities:
– Assemble mechanical and electrical components of small satellites
– Solder, crimp, and route harnesses and wiring
– Perform functional tests and assist with thermal/vacuum setups
– Maintain documentation and follow aerospace quality standards
Requirements:
– High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or technical training preferred)
– 2+ years of mechanical or electronics assembly experience
– Experience with aerospace or defense hardware a plus
– Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a cleanroom environment
