Job Description:
Allison Transmission is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support process optimization and continuous improvement at its Indianapolis production facility. The ideal candidate will bring experience in machining, automation, or assembly line support in an industrial setting.
Key Responsibilities:
– Design and improve manufacturing processes for efficiency and quality
– Implement lean manufacturing tools and troubleshoot production issues
– Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and quality teams
– Support new product introductions and line upgrades
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering
– 2+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
– Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
– Knowledge of Six Sigma or lean methodologies is a plus
