Your 'day to day':
As a Communications Lead you will support on Philip Morris Switzerland’s online and social media corporate content strategy in alignment with global external communication touchpoints and local assets. It includes the monitoring and reporting on social media initiatives, content sentiment, press reports, and corporate tools as well. Moreover, you will ensure that key global and local initiatives are planned and amplified according to the relevant audiences and priorities.
Key responsibilities
Contribute to the establishment of the corporate focused publishing schedule for PMSA across social media streams.
Manage the affiliate’s corporate market website and its content in alignment with both local and global communication priorities/needs.
Develop relevant stories and narratives within the company and across PMI to amplify, identify trending topics and create a dynamic content offline and online which meets different audience interests and needs for the various platforms.
Continuously collaborate and align with relevant communication partners internally and externally in order to guarantee coherent, timely and aligned communication to adult consumers on core digital platforms throughout the business units.
Support the Manager Communications and the External Affairs department in rolling out cross communication initiatives and campaigns throughout the appropriate business units.
Act as main agency contact in the company to ensure that content and issues on digital platforms are dealt with accurately, as well as secure relevant approvals for crisis management, non-commercial content briefs and monitoring.
Instruct third party agencies to produce, edit and post non-commercial assets (e.g. ad-hoc text, photo and video) across social media platforms in a timely manner and ensure appropriate follow-up to ensure a flawless execution.
Monitor and analyze media coverage about the company in print, online and social media with appropriate tools.
We’re looking for someone with:
Master’s degree or equivalent experience in communications or related fields.
Proven experience in communication within an international company and/or in a communication agency or in Federal/Cantonal administration.
Seasoned experience in collaboration and management of third-party agencies.
An effective communicator who is action oriented and comfortable working with multiple partners.
A good sense of emotional Intelligence.
A thorough knowledge of Switzerland’s political and administrative institutions.
Capability of building collaborative relationships, demonstrating empathy and resilience.
Capacity of thriving in complex, matrix environments with high tolerance for ambiguity.
Critical thinking with a strong drive for results
Strong interpersonal savviness and collaborative mindset
French as native language. Proficient in English and German.
Familiar with CMS tools, Sprinklr and Google analytics
