Job Description:
Chevron is hiring Process Operators at its Richmond Refinery, one of the largest and most advanced refining facilities on the West Coast. This position supports daily operations to safely process crude oil into fuel and chemical products.
Key Responsibilities:
– Monitor and control equipment using DCS systems
– Start up and shut down process units
– Perform routine field inspections and readings
– Respond to alarms and troubleshoot operational issues
– Maintain accurate logs and comply with safety and environmental standards
Requirements:
– High school diploma or GED; technical degree preferred
– 2+ years’ experience in refinery, chemical, or industrial processing
– Strong understanding of process systems and safety procedures
– Ability to work rotating shifts and respond to emergencies
