Job Description:
Pacific Refining is seeking a skilled I&E Technician for its refinery near the San Francisco Bay Area. This role ensures that all electrical and instrumentation systems run safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
– Maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate refinery instrumentation
– Install and test PLCs, transmitters, and control valves
– Perform preventive electrical maintenance and diagnostics
– Document all work per refinery compliance standards
Requirements:
– Journeyman certification or equivalent experience
– 3+ years in I&E maintenance (preferably in oil, gas, or chemical plant)
– Proficiency in reading schematics and loop diagrams
– Understanding of NEC and ISA standards
