Job Description:
BlueHorizon Energy is hiring an experienced Offshore HSE Technician to monitor health, safety, and environmental compliance on a deepwater drilling rig. This position ensures adherence to strict offshore regulations and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct safety inspections and enforce PPE compliance
Lead toolbox talks and safety drills (fire, lifeboat, evacuation)
Report near misses, incidents, and investigate root causes
Ensure environmental procedures are followed (spill prevention, waste handling)
Maintain records for audits and client reporting
Requirements:
3+ years of offshore HSE experience
Certifications in NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent offshore safety training
Valid TWIC, BOSIET, HUET, and SafeGulf
Strong knowledge of OSHA, API, and ISM standards
Excellent communication and leadership skills
