Job Description:
Brookfield Corporation’s Renewable Energy Division is hiring a Mechanical Engineer to assist in the development of wind, solar, and hydroelectric projects. This role requires expertise in mechanical systems design, energy optimization, and maintenance planning.
Responsibilities:
Design and optimize mechanical systems for renewable energy facilities
Conduct failure analysis and performance improvements for wind turbines and solar farms
Work with cross-functional teams to enhance energy efficiency
Support field teams with equipment troubleshooting and upgrades
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
3+ years of experience in renewable energy, power generation, or mechanical design
Knowledge of HVAC, thermodynamics, and rotating equipment
Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or ANSYS for mechanical modeling
Strong problem-solving and project management skills
