Job Description:
Cocos Island EcoTours is hiring an Eco-Tourism Guide to lead nature-based activities, cultural excursions, and marine tours in the Cocos (Keeling) Islands. This is a unique opportunity to work in a pristine tropical paradise while promoting sustainable tourism.
Responsibilities:
Conduct guided snorkeling, kayaking, and wildlife tours
Educate visitors about local marine life, conservation, and island culture
Assist in developing new eco-tourism experiences
Maintain equipment and ensure guest safety during tours
Provide high-quality customer service to visitors
Qualifications:
Experience in tourism, hospitality, or outdoor guiding preferred
Comfortable with water activities (snorkeling, kayaking, boat tours)
Strong communication and storytelling skills
Passion for nature, marine life, and conservation
First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
