Job Description:
Fairmont Austin is seeking a Front Desk Agent to provide an exceptional guest experience at one of Austin’s premier luxury hotels. This role is ideal for individuals with strong customer service skills and a passion for hospitality.
Responsibilities:
Welcome guests and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
Handle guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services and local attractions
Process room reservations, payments, and billing transactions
Coordinate with housekeeping, concierge, and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction
Address guest complaints and resolve issues professionally
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
Qualifications:
No prior hotel experience required – training provided
Previous experience in hospitality, front desk, or customer service is a plus
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in hotel management software (Opera, PMS, or similar preferred)
Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
A friendly and professional demeanor with attention to detail
