Your ‘day to day’

You will be employed under Philip Morris China (PMCN), PMCN operates as a subsidiary of Philip Morris International, Inc. Based in Beijing office, acting as a strategic co-pilot to partner on business and operational strategy, co-managing risks and opportunities.


Responsibilities:

Business Planning & Support for Strategy Development: collaborating with Market Business Leaders and Cluster Business Planning to build long-range market plans, driving and crafting the OB/LRP and strategy process, and translating OB and strategy direction into operational business and financial plans for market deployments.
Commercial Finance / Scenario Modelling: partnering with commercial teams to define ROI of initiatives, drive/support investment decisions, and set metrics and targets. It includes providing options and driving decisions to improve business results based on commercial and other functional drivers, contributing to building business/commercial scenarios with high-level finance impact, identifying trends and patterns to maximize commercial investment ROI, and leading business development activities and new business opportunities sizing.
Financial Planning and Forecasting: leading the finance cycles (OB/Rolling Forecast) and integrating them into overall business cycles. It includes continuously supervising P&L forecasts, proposing changes of course of actions, discussing forecast adjustments, analyzing gaps, and driving prioritization decisions. Additionally, it encompasses financial analysis and insights, management reporting, KPI calculation and reporting, ad-hoc reporting to build a single source of truth, and leading all aspects of the preparation, analysis, and comments for all finance reports and business updates.
Financial Accounting, Risk & Control: leading P&L and B/S for the markets to ensure the completeness of the books. It includes supervising overall finance-related services such as Internal Controls, Treasury, and Tax, as well as driving continuous risk assessment and the implementation/execution of controls.


Who we’re looking for

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
A minimum of 10 years of multi-function and multi-country experience preferably in Finance, Planning and / or Commercial roles.
Ability to operate in an ambiguous landscape, taking action and generating confidence for the team in times of ambiguity.
Excellent command of Mandarin and English and able to work in multinational working environment.
Ability to build relationships and networks internally and externally.
Ability to influence and guide decisions by combining respectful questions, has high level of communication & planning skills; and strong business mindset.
Ability to champion and lead change, ability to work with partners efficiently to deliver change programs.
Candidate who are open for relocation preferred.
