Job Description:
Iceland Seafood International is hiring Fish Processing Workers to work in its seafood production facilities in Iceland. This role involves handling, cleaning, and packaging fresh fish and seafood products for export and local distribution. No prior experience is required, as training will be provided.
Responsibilities:
Cleaning, gutting, and filleting fish
Sorting and packaging seafood for export
Operating fish processing machinery (after training)
Ensuring hygiene and food safety regulations are followed
Working in a cold environment with protective gear provided
Following all workplace health and safety guidelines
Qualifications:
No prior experience needed – on-the-job training provided
Physically fit and able to perform repetitive tasks
Willingness to work in a cold and fast-paced environment
Basic English communication skills (Icelandic is a plus)
Ability to work shifts, including evenings and weekends
