Job Description:
ExxonMobil is hiring a Process Operator for its Baytown Refinery, one of the largest refining and petrochemical complexes in the United States. The Process Operator will be responsible for monitoring and controlling various refining processes, ensuring safety, efficiency, and environmental compliance.

Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor refinery equipment, including pumps, compressors, and heat exchangers
Adjust process variables to maintain optimal performance
Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting of refinery units
Follow strict safety and environmental regulations in all operations
Work closely with engineers and maintenance teams to optimize plant efficiency
Participate in emergency response and shutdown procedures
Maintain detailed operational logs and reports

Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED (Associate’s degree in Process Technology preferred)
Minimum of 2 years of experience in refining, chemical, or industrial operations
Strong understanding of process systems, equipment, and safety procedures
Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including climbing and lifting
Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Valid TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) is a plus
