Job Description:
GreenVolt Energy Solutions is seeking a Battery Storage Technician to support the installation, maintenance, and monitoring of battery energy storage systems (BESS). The role involves working on large-scale renewable energy projects that integrate battery storage with solar and wind energy.
Responsibilities:
Install and maintain battery storage systems for commercial and utility-scale projects
Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on battery units
Monitor and optimize system performance using energy management software
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards
Collaborate with engineers and project managers on energy storage solutions
Requirements:
Technical diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field
Experience in battery storage, electrical systems, or energy storage projects
Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and blueprints
Basic knowledge of lithium-ion battery technology and energy management systems
Willingness to travel to project sites and work in field environments
