Job Description:
Chevron is hiring a Refinery Operator to join its Pascagoula Refinery team. This position involves operating and monitoring refinery equipment, ensuring the safe and efficient processing of crude oil into refined products. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining operational standards, following safety protocols, and optimizing refinery performance.

Responsibilities:
Operate, monitor, and adjust refinery equipment and machinery
Ensure safe and efficient processing of crude oil and refined petroleum products
Conduct regular equipment inspections and perform minor maintenance
Follow all environmental, health, and safety guidelines
Respond to alarms, troubleshoot operational issues, and adjust controls as needed
Maintain detailed records of operations, including production reports and safety logs
Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth refinery operations

Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED (Associate’s or Technical degree preferred)
Minimum of 2 years of experience in refinery operations or industrial plant work
Strong understanding of refinery processes, equipment, and safety regulations
Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Physical ability to work in a demanding environment (climbing, lifting, exposure to heat and chemicals)
