Job Description:
Trident Enterprises is seeking an experienced Senior Purchase Manager to lead their procurement department. The role involves managing a team and overseeing the procurement of materials, products, and services for the organization, focusing on cost-effectiveness, quality, and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Lead the procurement process and ensure alignment with company requirements and budget
Negotiate with suppliers and service providers to secure the best deals
Establish and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure consistent supply chains
Monitor market trends and adjust purchasing strategies accordingly
Collaborate with the production and finance departments for forecasting and inventory management
Maintain documentation for all procurement activities and contracts
Train and manage the procurement team
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related fields
7+ years of experience in purchasing, with at least 3 years in a managerial role
Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage a team
Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems
Knowledge of industry standards and procurement best practices
