Job Description:
General Motors is hiring a Quality Control Inspector to join their Lansing facility. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting finished automotive parts, conducting quality assurance tests, and ensuring that products meet GM’s high manufacturing standards before being delivered to clients.
Responsibilities:
Perform in-depth inspections of parts, materials, and finished products
Use precision measuring instruments and testing equipment to assess product quality
Identify and report defects and deviations from product specifications
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues
Document inspection results and maintain accurate records
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality standards
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (preferred)
2+ years of experience in quality control or quality assurance in manufacturing
Knowledge of quality inspection tools and techniques
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication skills in English
