Job Description:
ExxonMobil is seeking Refinery Operators to join its team at the Houston Refinery. The selected candidates will be responsible for monitoring refinery operations, ensuring process safety, and optimizing equipment performance.
Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor refining equipment to ensure safe and efficient production
Conduct inspections, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on process units
Follow all safety regulations and emergency response procedures
Work in collaboration with engineers and maintenance teams to optimize refinery processes
Maintain detailed logs and reports on operational performance
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Process Technology preferred
2+ years of experience in refinery, petrochemical, or industrial operations
Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights and weekends
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug test
