What to Expect
The prototyping lab in Athens Engineering Office is seeking a talented technician to help advance Tesla’s mission of accelerating the world’s transition to sustainable energy. The prototyping lab supports engineering operations across Tesla.

What You’ll Do
Assemble complex mechanical parts.
Cut material, build tooling, set fixtures, run programs, deburr, and finish parts.
Operate LASER cutting tool.
Use various inspection and measurement tools to validate assemblies.
Tracking and documentation of prototyping processes and results when necessary.
Collaborate openly with engineers and team members to find solutions, and proactively communicate with them through verbal, email, phone, and other internal electronic channels.
Perform calibrations on equipment.
Complete required preventive maintenance.
Provide feedback on manufacturing methods and technologies.
Collaborate with design engineers to gain an in-depth understanding of the design intend and independently work towards the most effective solution.
Conduct experiments in accordance with all safety, quality, and efficiency standards by following written and verbal work instructions.
Design fixtures and equipment for testing in prototype and production environment.
Maintain clean and safe work areas.


Συναρμολόγηση σύνθετων μηχανικών εξαρτημάτων.
Κοπή υλικού, κατασκευή εργαλείων, ρύθμιση εξαρτημάτων, εκτέλεση προγραμμάτων, απομάκρυνση και φινίρισμα εξαρτημάτων.
Λειτουργία εργαλείου κοπής LASER.
Χρήση διαφόρων εργαλείων ελέγχου και μέτρησης για την επικύρωση συναρμολογήσεων.
Παρακολούθηση και τεκμηρίωση των διαδικασιών πρωτοτυποποίησης και των αποτελεσμάτων, όταν είναι απαραίτητο.
Συνεργασία με τους μηχανικούς και τα μέλη της ομάδας για την εύρεση λύσεων και προορατική επικοινωνία μαζί τους προφορικά, μέσω email, τηλεφώνου και άλλων εσωτερικών ηλεκτρονικών καναλιών.
Εκτέλεση βαθμονομήσεων στον εξοπλισμό.
Ολοκλήρωση της απαιτούμενης προληπτικής συντήρησης.
Παροχή σχολίων σχετικά με τις μεθόδους και τις τεχνολογίες κατασκευής.
Συνεργασία με τους μηχανικούς σχεδιασμού για βαθιά κατανόηση της πρόθεσης σχεδιασμού και ανεξάρτητη εργασία για την πιο αποτελεσματική λύση.
Διεξαγωγή πειραμάτων σύμφωνα με όλα τα πρότυπα ασφάλειας, ποιότητας και αποτελεσματικότητας, ακολουθώντας γραπτές και προφορικές οδηγίες εργασίας.
Σχεδιασμός εξαρτημάτων και εξοπλισμού για δοκιμές σε περιβάλλον πρωτοτύπων και παραγωγής.
Διατήρηση καθαρών και ασφαλών χώρων εργασίας.


What You’ll Bring
Ability to identify and procure effective tooling and work-holding solutions.
Knowledge and understanding of engineering drawings, documents, and GD&T
Thorough knowledge in measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauge pins, bore gauges, optical comparator, etc.
Experience with material removal processes.
Demonstrate innovation, technical excellence, attention to detail and self-direction.
Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and mathematical competency
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment with tight deadline.
English fluently in speaking, reading and writing.
Ability to lift 25 kg on a daily basis.

Γνώση και κατανόηση μηχανολογικών σχεδίων, εγγράφων και GD&T
Βαθιά γνώση των εργαλείων μέτρησης, όπως παχύμετρα, μικρόμετρα, ακίδες μέτρησης, μετρητές οπών, συσκευές οπτικής σύγκρισης κ.λπ.
· Εμπειρία με διεργασίες αφαίρεσης υλικού.

Άριστες επικοινωνιακές δεξιότητες και ικανότητα εργασίας σε ένα περιβάλλον με γρήγορους ρυθμούς και προκλήσεις με αυστηρές προθεσμίες.
Άπταιστα αγγλικά στον προφορικό λόγο, την ανάγνωση και τον γραπτό λόγο.
Δυνατότητα άρσης 25 κιλών σε καθημερινή βάση.
