Job Description:
Nestlé Purina PetCare is hiring a Maintenance Technician to ensure the smooth operation of machinery and equipment at our St. Louis manufacturing facility. This role requires strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, as well as experience in preventive maintenance and repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventive maintenance on production machinery and equipment
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Conduct routine inspections to identify equipment failures and optimize performance
Work collaboratively with the production team to minimize downtime
Maintain accurate maintenance logs and follow safety protocols
Requirements:
High school diploma or technical certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Maintenance
2+ years of experience in industrial maintenance (food or pet food manufacturing preferred)
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Ability to read blueprints and schematics
Willingness to work rotating shifts and overtime as required
