As part of the Category Management team, you will report to the Head of Category Management and manage one direct report—a Junior Content Manager. Your role will be pivotal in shaping our e-commerce strategy by serving as an advisor on retail media, leading our digital agency’s efforts in Sponsored Products, and drafting category visions for Pure Players while providing input for Bricks & Clicks players. It has both internal and external stakeholders.
We aim to become the recognized leader in delivering a digital shopper journey across all relevant touchpoints, leveraging digital solutions to meet the diverse needs of our consumers. Whether it’s supporting families during the First 1,000 Days (from pregnancy to toddlerhood) with our specialized baby brands or offering plant-based and dairy innovations like Alpro, HiPro, Danoontje, and Danio, we strive to create seamless experiences. Your contribution will be essential in coordinating efforts across departments and serving as the e-commerce center of excellence.
Your key responsibilities are:
Ensure the perfect digital shelf to maximize brand presence and visibility.
Drive cross-functional collaboration and foster entrepreneurial ownership within teams.
Project management for commercialization projects within the Consumer Value Journey.
Serve as the center of excellence for e-commerce transformation, sharing expertise and insights.
Main point of contact (poc) for the global e-commerce team for strategic projects, implementation and reporting.
Develop and optimize digital routes to market for Danone brands, including identifying new business models and partnerships.
Develop category vision Pure Players
Manage and develop the Junior Content Manager.
About you
• A Master’s degree and 5+ years of relevant experience (digital, marketing, sales).
• At least 2 years of experience working in consumer-branded environments (FMCG or agency).
• Minimum 2 years of commercial experience (preferably in sales/account management).
• Fluent in Dutch and English, with strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proven experience in e-commerce (consumer goods) and/or business/channel development.
• Experience with tools like: scraping tools to improve digital shelf, ratings&reviews tools, analytics software, PowerBI and Nielsen/Circana.
• Strong entrepreneurial and commercial mindset.
• Flexible, agile, and able to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
