Job Description:
General Motors Oshawa is hiring Assembly Line Workers to join our manufacturing team. This role involves assembling vehicle components on a fast-paced production line while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble automotive parts on a moving production line
Operate hand tools and machinery to install vehicle components
Perform visual inspections to ensure product quality
Follow standardized work procedures and safety guidelines
Maintain a clean and organized workstation
Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred but not required
Ability to work rotating shifts, including evenings and weekends
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks and lift up to 50 lbs
Willingness to participate in continuous improvement initiatives
