Your 'day to day'
As a Tax Supervisor, you will manage Cluster Markets' Direct & International Tax, acting inside the Team to coordinate and grant Tax Compliance. You will also advise the business on tax matters and manage tax audits/issues.
More specifically, you will
Coordinate Direct Tax compliance activities for Cluster Markets, acting inside the Team to grant the compliance on tax related issues, including tax calculation and reports. Regarding Indirect tax calculated by Tax GBS, it is vital to define some criteria and give support/ update them on business matters.
Supervise favorable tax balances and the CIT`s effective tax rate, analyze tax planning strategies, and manage tax exclusions in order to contribute to the working capital, reduce the taxable base and mitigate tax contingencies
Attend the internal and external Tax Audit, preparing the documentation required
Deliver the South Cluster Reports to PMI Consolidation team, providing the additional information, as requested
Review agreements from a tax point of view, advise and propose any improvements identified
Represent the tax team inside the projects for the markets involved, providing the tax information previously discussed/aligned with the Head of Tax/Tax Manager, acting as a Co-Pilot for the business units and operational teams
Constantly look for the Tax Internal Controls and ensure that the activities will be performed according to them
Control and supervise all tax legislation updates (municipal, provincial and national)
Support your team in developing new capabilities and skills
Who we're looking for
University degree in Finance or equivalent
Minimum of 7 years’ experience in tax general procedures and operational activities and at least 2 years of team management.
Background in Accounting
SAP knowledge is a “MUST”
Capacity to coordinate and prioritize work independently to meet changing requirements in high-paced environment
Ability to work in a team environment that promotes collaboration
Concise communication skills (verbal, written, visualizations), excellent English skills
