Job Description
Global English Academy is looking for motivated and enthusiastic individuals to work as Assistant Language Teachers (ALTs) in Tokyo, Japan. As an ALT, you will assist Japanese teachers in public or private schools by providing engaging English lessons and cultural exchange opportunities for students. Key Responsibilities
Teach conversational English to students from elementary to high school levels
Assist Japanese teachers in planning and conducting English lessons
Encourage students to develop their speaking and listening skills through interactive activities
Participate in school events, cultural festivals, and extracurricular activities
Provide feedback and assessments to help students improve their language skills
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in any field (required for visa sponsorship)
Native or near-native English proficiency
No prior teaching experience required (training provided)
TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA certification is a plus but not mandatory
Willingness to adapt to Japanese culture and workplace expectations
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
