Job Description:
Ford Motor Company is seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Assembly Line Workers at the Oakville Assembly Complex in Oakville, Ontario. This role is integral to the production of high-quality vehicles that meet our rigorous standards and delight our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Vehicle Assembly: Perform tasks such as installing parts, components, and systems on the assembly line, following standardized work instructions to ensure consistency and quality.
Quality Assurance: Conduct inspections to verify the correct installation and functionality of components, promptly reporting any defects or issues to supervisors.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and participation in safety training sessions.
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Equipment Operation: Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery as required for assembly tasks, ensuring proper handling and maintenance.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment is advantageous but not mandatory; comprehensive training will be provided.
Physical Demands: Ability to perform repetitive tasks, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to work in various environmental conditions, including noise and temperature variations.
Skills: Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to follow detailed instructions. Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset are essential.
Availability: Willingness to work rotating shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and overtime as required to meet production demands.
