Job Description
Gulf Coast Refining & Energy is looking for hardworking and safety-conscious individuals to join our team as Entry-Level Refinery Technicians at our Houston, TX facility. In this role, you will assist in the daily operations of the refinery, including monitoring equipment, supporting maintenance activities, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. You will work closely with experienced technicians and engineers to develop essential skills for long-term career growth in the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in the operation of refining units, including monitoring pressure, temperature, and flow rates
Perform routine equipment inspections and report any abnormalities
Support maintenance teams in troubleshooting and repairing machinery
Follow strict safety protocols to prevent hazards and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations
Learn to operate control systems for crude oil processing and refining
Maintain accurate logs and reports of daily activities and operational changes
Participate in ongoing training programs to develop technical and safety skills
Work in collaboration with senior refinery personnel to improve overall efficiency

Requirements & Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required (vocational training in mechanical, electrical, or industrial fields is a plus)
No prior experience needed; training will be provided
Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety
Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check, drug screening, and physical examination
