YOUR ‘DAY TO DAY’
As a Quality Engineer at our factory in Klaipėda, you will provide full quality support and expertise to other departments in order to achieve a high level of quality in products, processes and materials. You will also:
• Implement and maintain a control strategy for materials and semi-products, including acceptance criteria for each incoming material, in accordance with PMI guidelines, procedures and statistical tools for sampling and analysis.
• Investigate non-conformities and deviations in a timely manner, make decisions to quarantine non-conforming materials/products and collaborate with relevant parties to identify root causes and implement appropriate preventive/corrective actions.
• Foster strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, focusing on collaboration and information exchange to ensure excellent quality, continuous improvement and compliance with PMI requirements.
• Initiate process, product and material related improvements by providing technical and analytical direction to solve quality and operational issues, while seeking opportunities for productivity and standardization.
• Ensure that internal, external and quality system audits are properly conducted, corrective actions are identified, followed up and documented.
• Establish a system to identify, record and evaluate internal or external quality complaints, investigate and resolve critical deviations.
• Conduct internal and external training to affiliate employees as a subject matter expert in Quality Management System (QMS), quality processes and products.
WE EXPECT THAT YOU:
• Have a technical college/university degree (Engineering, Biological Sciences, Physical Sciences or similar).
• Have proven experience in quality assurance in the manufacturing industry.
• Exhibit advanced knowledge in quality tools, root cause analysis and international standards (ISO) (LEAN knowledge would be an advantage).
• Possess great computer skills (SAP, Power BI knowledge would be an advantage).
• Show strong analytical, organizational and project management skills.
• Have excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
