Job Role Overview
• Lead and manage the hotel's Finance and Accounting team.
• Ensure that financial records and accounts are accurate and provide a fair representation of the hotel’s transactions and asset management.
• Establish and maintain an internal control system to ensure transactions comply with Management’s approvals and adhere to USALI, generally accepted accounting principles, and local regulations.
• Review and validate all internal and external financial reports for the hotel.
• Oversee the creation of the hotel’s annual budget and monthly forecasts. Prepare cost estimates, margin analyses, and develop financial KPIs to drive business performance.
• Provide expert support during monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
• Develop and produce controlling reports and address new reporting needs.
• Participate in audit processes.
Accounting Software: Winmentor.
Required Experience and Skills
• At least 5 years of relevant experience, with a strong preference for experience in internationally branded premium or luxury hotels.
• Strong communication skills and professional fluency in English.
• A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, along with relevant certifications.
• Active CPA license. Familiarity with USALI standards.
