Job Description:
A private language institute in Tokyo is seeking passionate and dedicated English teachers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching English to students of various ages, from children to adults, in both private and group settings.
Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging English lessons tailored to students’ needs
Develop lesson plans and classroom activities to enhance learning
Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback
Encourage a positive and interactive learning environment
Participate in school meetings, workshops, and cultural activities
Requirements:
Native or near-native proficiency in English
Bachelor’s degree (required for visa sponsorship)
TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA certification (preferred but not mandatory)
Previous teaching experience (preferred)
Ability to adapt to different age groups and learning styles
Basic knowledge of Japanese is a plus, but not required
