This newly established role is designed to create and lead a new capability within our organization. As a dynamic, visionary and strategic leader, you will stand up and spearhead the new Nestle USA Retail Paid Search Center Of Excellence (COE). This role will harness your strategic and leadership skills to drive continual excellence in retail paid search, optimize the retailer search ecosystem, and lead activations alongside our new Retail Search Agency of Record (AOR). You will be instrumental in building best practices and capabilities within our Marketing and Sales teams and embedding them into our everyday work at Nestle USA.

Your responsibilities will include a deep understanding of paid search at our top retailers translating our brands' business goals, fostering collaboration across retail search channels to maximize outcomes, driving effectiveness of paid and organic search integration, gaining shelf position, creating performance projections, and analytic assessment of performance. Additionally, you will ensure the seamless integration of performance-driven retail paid search efforts into our holistic commerce strategy, delivering best-in-class results.


This role can be based in Arlington VA or Solon OH.


Key Responsibilities:

Setting the vision for the Retail Paid Search Center of Excellence, driving the overall portfolio, category and brand strategy for retail paid search.
Collaborate with cross-functional peers and internal/external stakeholders to translate high-level strategy into detailed, actionable brand- and retailer-specific search plans; and to determine the best way to integrate paid search within the broader omni-channel marketing mix as well as full-funnel retail media plans.
Comprehensive understanding of effectiveness of eCommerce levers (Digital Shelf, Organic Search, Retail Paid Search, Retailer as Media, Shopper Marketing)
Lead a team of Retail Search specialists in the Retail Paid Search COE, as well as the Retail Search AOR, in keyword strategy development, competitive research, campaign setup and management, and reporting of search media buys.
Provide up-front guardrails and strategy to eCommerce teams within each Division to formulate and execute strategies that are congruent with business objectives and consumer behavior.
Responsible for managing, executing, and optimizing Retail Paid Search investments
Develop retail search frameworks, case studies, trainings, and other content to continuously raise the bar.
Establish and foster relationships with retail search platform partners to drive innovation and excellence in paid search strategy.
Work with our Analytics teams to set thoughtful KPIs & benchmarks, deliver best-in-class reporting, and drive automation throughout the measurement & optimization process


Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
5-7+ years of senior-level experience in retail media or eCommerce
A strategic mindset with the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions.
Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to lead, influence and build organization capabilities, as well as mentor and develop direct reports.
Strong understanding of retail media and marketing fundamentals, with deep insights into consumer behavior.
Proven track record in developing and executing successful retail paid search or eCommerce strategies.
Extensive experience with retail media networks (e.g., Amazon, WMC, KPM, Instacart, Roundel, etc.) and management tools (e.g. Pacvue, Skai, Amazon Marketing Cloud, Data Impact, etc.)
Demonstrated ability to stay current with emerging technologies and trends
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
