Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance and business support Manager (F/M/X) to join our dynamic team in Athens, Greece. In this pivotal role, you will oversee our organization's financial and accounting operations, drive business support initiatives, and develop strategies to optimize our financial performance while ensuring compliance with local regulations.
Lead and manage the finance and acconting department, overseeing daily operations and mentoring team members
Develop and implement financial and business support strategies aligned with organizational objectives
Prepare and analyze comprehensive financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
Manage budgeting processes and conduct regular financial forecasting to support informed decision-making
Ensure compliance with Greek financial regulations and tax laws
Oversee cash flow management and optimize working capital
Collaborate with senior management to provide financial insights and business support for strategic planning
Implement and maintain robust internal financial controls and risk management processes
Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and financial institutions
Identify and implement opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements across the organization
Oversee financial systems and recommend upgrades to enhance efficiency and reporting capabilities
Drive business support initiatives to improve overall organizational performance
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; A΄ class signature right holder is a must.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is a plus
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior finance or accounting role
Strong knowledge of Greek financial regulations and tax laws
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with financial reporting systems
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach
Proven experience in budgeting, financial planning, and analysis
Strong leadership abilities with experience managing and developing teams
Excellent communication skills in both Greek and English
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Experience with ERP systems and financial modeling
Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and implement best practices
Proficiency in business support functions and experience in process optimization
Knowledge of international financial standards (IFRS)
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally to achieve organizational goals
