Job Description:
General Motors (GM) is hiring motivated and reliable individuals to join our team at the assembly plant. As a member of our workforce, you will be an integral part of building world-class vehicles in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. No prior automotive experience is required; we provide on-the-job training.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble vehicle components, including engines, body parts, and interior systems, following safety and quality standards.
Operate and maintain assembly line tools and equipment.
Conduct quality checks on assembled components and finished products.
Follow established protocols for production efficiency and safety compliance.
Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Ability to stand, bend, and lift objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Basic math and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
Working Hours:
Full-time shifts (8-10 hours per day).
Rotating schedules with morning, afternoon, and evening shifts.
Salary:
Starting at $18–$25 per hour, depending on experience and location.
Overtime pay available.
