Your ‘day to day’
• Prepare the annual financial statements and other periodic financial reporting following local statutory requirements
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of statutory accounting books in accordance with legal and company requirements
• Act as the accounting business partner to ensure statutory compliance of internal projects
• Interact with company’s Shared Service Centers to ensure proper execution of all the centrally migrated activities
• Maintain solid bank relationships and ensure full compliance with regulatory formalities including but not limited to signatory rights authorization, ultimate beneficial owner documentation, etc.
• Follow up on the timely completion of critical payments (e.g., tax-, payroll-related). Execute manual or urgent payment requests, if needed
• Handle petty cash & cheques and execute cash/cheques transactions. Make relevant postings and reconciliations in line with SAP general ledger accounts and company’s policies.

Who we’re looking for
• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other related field
• MSC in Finance/Accounting will be considered a plus
• Professional Qualification (CFA, ACA, ACCA, or similar) will be considered a plus
• 3-5 years of professional experience in audit/tax/bookkeeping preferably gained within a major International professional services firm (Big4 or other)
• Proficiency in Accounting software, SAP would be a plus
• Well-exercised analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to engage with senior management
• Proficient with Microsoft Office application (especially MS Excel and PowerPoint)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Greek
• Fulfilled military obligations (if applicable)
