ABOUT THE JOB
Are you an expert in Media strategies that grow brands? Do you find yourself excited for the chance to lead and develop media strategies and campaigns within one of the largest FMCG companies in the world? If yes, maybe the position of Media Manager for Nordics and Baltics at Danone might be right for you!
As Media Manager you will be responsible for the full cycle, from crafting the strategy to the best-in-class media execution. You will work closely with numerous stakeholders from internal marketing teams and brand owners to external agencies. You are part of the media team in our Nordic and Baltic region, with our office in Stockholm as your base. You will focus on the Specialized Nutrition category and your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Lead implementation of brands' paid media strategy in close collaboration with brand managers and media agencies in Nordics and Baltics. This includes media briefing, full funnel strategy media plans and evaluations for different market segments.
• Set relevant media KPIs, follow up on execution and budget ROI and set best practices
• Suggest data-driven media automation solutions for the campaigns
• Manage relationship with media agencies, including day-to-day management and agency evaluation making sure we keep deadline and deliver on target
• Work closely with brand managers to set best practices and standards for media campaigns
• Proactively bring new ideas and explore growth opportunities
• Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices
We believe that you are a strategic, analytical, and business minded person with deep, holistic media expertise, focused on growing brands. As a person you are a true team player able to collaborate with different people and communicate in an engaging way. To thrive and be successful in this role, we believe you have:
• Minimum Bachelor degree in marketing or similar.
• Have 3-5+ years’ professional experience in media related role either strategic advisor roles, from media agency, on the client side or publisher side.
• Have a proven track record of developing media strategies, planning that drive results and grows brands.
• Have a business-oriented mindset, able to turn insights into strategies and actions and to successfully align them with your stakeholders.
• Knowledge of the complete media landscape, including social, tech and market trends.
• Solid knowledge of the technical side of digital tools (analytics, 3rd party ad serving) digital media platforms.
• Hands-on experience with media planning will be considered as an advantage.
• Fluent in English and Swedish or other Scandinavian language both written and verbal.
